Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas joined Garris Robert Realtors in January, 2003. He has a strong background in sales and is well known in the Cedar Valley as a business owner and radio personality.

Michael is very civic minded; volunteering his time in the community with Operation Threshold, the Amvets and the inner-city motorcycle club. He also enjoys coaching a Cedar Valley little league football team and helping with the AAU basketball program.

Michael was instrumental in organizing the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Board of Realtors ham drive for the benefit of the Northeast Iowa Food bank, this effort fed over 400 families during the holidays. In recognition of his efforts and concern for his community, Michael was awarded the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Board of Realtors 2003 Community Service award. In 2003, Michael also received a special President’s Award from the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Board of Realtors for his help in the Board Advertising Campaign.

During 2003 Michael earned the Accredited Buyers Representative designation (ABR). This designation allows him to fully represent a buyer in the market.
