I grew up in Waterloo, graduating in 1964 from Orange High School and attended UNI for 3 years. In 1967, I enlisted in the Navy and spent 2 years in Vietnam on the heavy cruiser USS Canberra CAG2 and 2 years in Washington DC with the Bureau of Naval Personnel. I was licensed as a Realtor Associate in 1972 with Wallace and Stokes, Realtors. In 1975, I became a partner with Keith in Stokes-Reisinger, Realtors.
I was hired as the Executive Vice President of the Waterloo - Cedar Falls Board of Realtors 1994, retiring after 20 years, in January 2014. I am married to my wife, Jackie and have 3 children, Chris, Chuck and Carrie. I also have 4 granddaughters. My hobbies include reading, cooking and woodworking.
I have been active in the community as President of the Waterloo JC's in 1976 and President of the Waterloo - Cedar Falls Board of Realtors in 1980. I have served on various city and county boards - currently serving on the City of Waterloo Board of Adjustment and the Black Hawk County Board of Review..
